“This is one of those fights where you lose but still win. I am grateful for last night and have no regrets about stepping into the ring one last time.”
Tyson also revealed the serious health struggles he faced before the fight:
“In June, I almost died. I had to undergo eight blood transfusions, lost half my blood, and dropped 25 pounds (11 kg) while in the hospital. I had to work hard to get healthy enough to fight, so for me, this is a victory.”
Jake Paul, the official winner of the fight, responded to Tyson’s post with respect:
“Love you, Mike. It was an honor. You are an inspiration to all of us.”
A Fight Full of Emotions
