Jake Paul, 27, shared a video on Instagram showing him lifting 57-year-old Mike Tyson onto his shoulders. The two were seen cheering together, much to the delight of fans. “Best friends,” Paul captioned the post, tagging Tyson.

From Rivals to Reunion

Before their fight on November 15, Tyson and Paul frequently exchanged insults and criticism. The match, originally scheduled earlier, was postponed for four months due to Tyson being diagnosed with a stomach ulcer.

Tensions peaked on November 14 during the weigh-in when Tyson unexpectedly slapped Paul. According to Tom Patti, a longtime friend of Tyson, the incident occurred after Paul accidentally stepped on Tyson’s foot. “I was there, and Mike told me it was just a reflex,” Patti explained.

Despite the altercation, Paul appeared excited about the moment, writing on X (formerly Twitter): “This is a pinch-me moment. I just got slapped by Mike Tyson!”

Tyson’s Hazy Memories of the Fight

In December, Tyson admitted that he had little recollection of the fight. During a December 9 interview, he shared: “I don’t remember much about the fight; I was a bit dazed. I just remember coming back after the first round and Jake was doing something… I don’t know what he was doing. That’s the last thing I recall.”

Tyson also revealed feeling puzzled about his decision to return to the ring. “The next day, I woke up and asked my wife, ‘Why did I do that?’ I really don’t know what was going on,” Tyson said.
