Mike Tyson Admits About His Fight with Jake Paul: “I don’t remember much about the fight.”
Mike Tyson, the 58-year-old boxing icon, recently revealed during an interview with Covino & Rich on Fox Sports that he doesn’t remember much about his fight against Jake Paul, 27, on November 15. Tyson admitted he felt “a bit out of focus” throughout the match.
“I don’t remember much about the fight. I was a bit dazed,” Tyson shared on December 9.
He added, “I only remember going back after the first round, and Jake was doing something… I didn’t know what he was doing,” Tyson said while mimicking Paul’s bowing motion in the ring. “And that’s the last thing I remember,” he explained.
Post-Fight Confusion
Tyson also admitted that, after the fight, he questioned why he had agreed to the bout with Jake Paul.
Tyson, who has been married to Lakiha Spicer since 2009, said: “The next day, I woke up and asked my wife, ‘Why did I even do that?’ I really don’t understand what the hell happened.”
Physical Aftermath
Even though he can’t recall much of the fight, Tyson’s body served as a painful reminder of the night. “I don’t remember, but my body was really sore. My chest and stomach hurt a lot,” Tyson said.
Would He Do Anything Differently?
When asked if he would change anything about the fight with Paul, Tyson replied firmly, “Not at all.”
The highly publicized match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul garnered massive attention and sparked debates, yet Tyson himself admits he couldn’t fully grasp the event.
