Novak Djokovic Recovers Faster Than Expected, Set to Return at Qatar Open
Novak Djokovic is officially set to make his comeback at the Qatar Open later this month after a remarkably quick recovery from a hamstring injury.

Djokovic Recovers Faster Than Expected
The world No. 6 was forced to withdraw from the Australian Open 2025 semifinals last month after losing the first set 6-7(5) to Alexander Zverev. Following the match, Djokovic shared an MRI scan confirming a minor hamstring tear, initially suggesting he could be out for up to two months.

However, according to Sportal Serbia, Djokovic has been undergoing successful treatment in Belgrade and is now planning to travel to Doha early next week to prepare for the Qatar Open, which begins on February 17.

Djokovic Hasn’t Held a Racket Since the Australian Open
Reports also reveal that Djokovic has not practiced with a racket since his withdrawal from the Australian Open. To ensure he is fully prepared, he will arrive in Doha earlier than planned to resume training ahead of the tournament.
Additionally, there has been a change in Djokovic’s support team. Claudio Cimalja will now serve as his physiotherapist, replacing Miljan Amanovic, who will only accompany Djokovic at Grand Slam and Masters 1000 tournaments moving forward.
Djokovic Yet to Decide on Coaching Role with Andy Murray
While Djokovic has confirmed his next tournament, he has yet to make a decision regarding his potential coaching collaboration with Andy Murray.
With his rapid recovery and an early return to competition, fans are eagerly anticipating Djokovic’s performance at the Qatar Open, marking his comeback after one of the most concerning injuries of his career.
