General Motors Joins Formula 1

Formula 1 officials today officially announced a preliminary agreement with General Motors (GM) to bring GM/Cadillac as the 11th team to the championship starting in 2026. This is a major step in expanding the presence of major global brands in Formula 1 , especially from the United States.

Formula 1 has maintained dialogue with GM and its partners at TWG Global to assess the feasibility of entering the partnership.
