Nevertheless, she continued to contribute to the team and helped Creamline win the PVL championship for the fourth consecutive year. “I was able to play in the first few months of the year and also helped defend our championship,” Valdez stated. Her recovery process was filled with ups and downs, but her return to the court was a significant milestone.

Though Valerie was unable to play throughout the entire season, her teammates excelled. Notably, Jema Galanza was called up to the national team and made valuable contributions to their success. Valdez expressed her wish to fully recover and return to her best form. “I’m here with the goal of coming back 100%, not just for myself but for all the athletes who are facing similar injuries,” she said.

 Together with her team, Valdez is preparing to return to the Premier Volleyball League on January 18. She stressed the importance of strong preparation. “We will focus on solid preparation as we enter this long tournament, concentrating on each match and striving to win every point,” she shared.
