The WWE Universe has been buzzing with curiosity about the favor Paul Heyman owes CM Punk. The Second City Saint hinted at this mysterious debt after helping the OG Bloodline win at Survivor Series War Games. But what exactly is this favor?

CM Punk Keeps the Favor a Secret

In a recent interview with Jackie Redmond, CM Punk was asked about the favor from Paul Heyman. However, Punk refused to disclose any details:

“No. I don’t know when I’m going to actually need to cash it in. And we’re friends. Me and Paul. So, between the two of us, we probably owe each other a lot of favors. Right?”

Punk teased that it might not be as exciting as people expect, saying:

“You never know. I might just have to ask, ‘Hey, Paul, can you pick me up on your way to Raw?’ That could end up being the favor. It’s going to be super disappointing for everybody. But you never know.”

While many speculate the favor is tied to another WWE Superstar close to Heyman, Punk remains tight-lipped.

CM Punk on His Friendship with Paul Heyman

Despite the speculation, CM Punk and Paul Heyman have always shared a strong friendship. Punk clarified that unlike others, he has never worked under Heyman:

“Paul Heyman is obviously a lightning rod in the wrestling world. I’ve never worked for him, and that’s why our relationship has always been really good. We’ve just always been friends.”

He added:

“He has never signed my checks. I’ve never relied on him for my income. Others who have may feel differently about him, and I understand that. But that’s why we’ve always gotten along so well.”

The WWE Lawsuit and Its Impact on Punk’s Relationships

Punk also revealed that his relationship with Heyman took a hit when he left WWE in 2014, especially during his lawsuit against the company.

“Paul was one of the guys I talked to very intermittently. We actually ran into each other at LaGuardia Airport once, and just stood with our backs to the wall, having a conversation.”

Due to legal advice, Punk had to limit his interactions:

“When I left WWE, I was advised by lawyers to watch what I said to anyone. Because it could be used against me legally. It was a rough time for relationships back then, and Paul was no exception.”

How Their Friendship Recovered

When asked about the moment their friendship was rekindled, Punk shared that it happened when he returned to WWE. He described their reunion as:

“A long, for other people uncomfortable, hug.”

While the details of Paul Heyman’s favor remain a mystery, one thing is clear: CM Punk and Heyman share a unique bond that has endured even through the toughest times.
