Jake Paul and Logan Paul Reveal New Project, Not a Fight
Despite teasing a mysterious announcement earlier this week, Jake Paul and Logan Paul will not be fighting each other in the ring as many speculated. Instead, they are set to launch a new reality TV series on Max, as confirmed during a Thursday livestream event.
The Paul Brothers Won’t Face Off in the Ring
During the livestream, Jake and Logan Paul walked around one of their luxury mansions for five minutes, pretending to argue before hugging and fake crying, ending the staged drama.
“I think we’re just terrible actors,” Jake Paul joked. “We have a much bigger announcement than just arguing.”
Jake then unveiled a neon sign displaying the official title of their new series:
“Paul American”, set to premiere on March 27 on Max.
The brothers promised that the show would provide a behind-the-scenes look at their various adventures, including the lead-up to Jake Paul’s boxing match against Mike Tyson.
“Paul American” – More Controversial Than a Fight?
Logan Paul continued to stir anticipation, saying:
“You think we’ve been controversial?” he teased. “I bet this show could end our careers.”
While many fans expected a Jake vs. Logan fight, the brothers only hinted at the possibility:
“Maybe one day we’ll do it.”
Following the announcement, they popped champagne, stood in front of two yellow sports cars, and let the livestream fade to black in dramatic fashion.
From Vine and YouTube to Boxing and Business
The Paul brothers first gained fame through six-second videos on Vine, a platform that has since been discontinued. They later became major YouTube influencers, before venturing into television and film.
- Jake Paul starred in Disney Channel’s “Bizaardvark”, where Logan Paul also appeared as a guest star.
- In recent years, both have pursued professional fighting:
- Jake Paul recently fought 58-year-old boxing legend Mike Tyson in a record-breaking match.
- Logan Paul transitioned to wrestling and previously held the WWE United States Championship.
According to Netflix, Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson attracted 108 million global viewers, making it “the most-streamed global sporting event in history.”
Beyond combat sports, Jake and Logan Paul have expanded into business ventures:
- Jake Paul leads the men’s personal care brand W.
- Logan Paul co-founded the beverage company Prime and the snack brand Lunchly.
With all their success, will “Paul American” become a reality TV hit, or will it add to the ongoing controversy surrounding Jake & Logan Paul.
