Jake Paul Calls Canelo Alvarez a ‘B*tch With Herpes’

Jake Paul is furious with Canelo Alvarez after their potential fight was called off. The YouTuber-turned-boxer didn’t hold back, calling the former super-middleweight champion a “b*tch… with herpes” and a sellout after reports surfaced that Canelo had pulled out of their supposed agreement.

Jake Paul vs. Canelo Alvarez Seemed Like a Done Deal

On Thursday, the boxing and entertainment world erupted when rumors leaked that Jake Paul was set to fight one of the biggest names in boxing—Canelo Alvarez. Reports suggested that both fighters had agreed to the bout, with an official announcement expected as early as next week. They even had a weight class finalized.

But just as quickly as the fight seemed to be coming together, it all fell apart.

Shortly after, Canelo announced he had signed an exclusive four-fight deal with a Saudi-backed promoter, which includes a massive showdown against Terence Crawford later this year.

The reality? Jake Paul got played.

And he should have known better. As someone who has built a multimillion-dollar empire by trolling and hyping up fights, Paul is no stranger to how the business works.

Jake Paul Unleashes on Canelo

That hasn’t stopped him from lashing out, though. In a two-minute social media rant, Paul accused Canelo of breaking a confidentiality agreement regarding their potential fight while calling him a sellout.

Oh, and he also claimed that Canelo has herpes.

Jake Paul Is Furious at Canelo for Backing Out

As if that wasn’t enough, Paul guaranteed that he would outsell any boxing match Canelo participates in this year.

To be fair, while I’m not a huge Jake Paul fan—and I despise the “pseudo” fights he’s had throughout his career (yes, including the upcoming Mike Tyson fight)—his video calling out Canelo was brutal.

But unfortunately for Jake, he has zero leverage.

Canelo has already secured a massive four-fight contract and is set to box Terence Crawford in September, a fight that could be the biggest boxing event since Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.

The ball is now in Jake Paul’s court—let’s see who he chooses as his next opponent.
