Jake Paul is Hurt by His Coach
Jake Paul has become a professional boxer nearly 4 years ago and has built an impressive career since then. “The Problem Child” has recently become one of the highest-paid boxers in the world after his controversial yet historic match with Mike Tyson.
The One Defeat in Jake Paul’s Career
However, there’s one weakness in his professional record that he wants to erase as soon as possible. In 2023, the boxer with an 11-1 record suffered his first and only loss in his professional career to Tommy Fury through a split decision. Although Paul lost the fight, it was a very intense match, and the efforts of El Gallo were evident as he faced the Manchester fighter. During the preparation, Paul participated in a grueling training camp, where he even suffered a nosebleed during one of his training sessions.
The Mystery Behind Jake Paul’s Nosebleed
Many fans are curious about the culprit behind this nosebleed right before his big match. Almost a year after the fight, professional light-heavyweight boxer 19-2-1 Kalvin Henderson came forward, claiming that he was behind the incident and blamed Jake Paul’s trainers.
Kalvin Henderson Reflects on His Time in El Gallo’s Camp
In an interview with FightHype, Henderson reminisced about his time in El Gallo’s camp. “It was an amazing experience. Not just training with him, but the whole experience of coming to meet the Middle Eastern man. The culture, the gym, everything was great,” Henderson recalled with a bright smile on his face.
Jake Paul’s Coaching Team and Lack of Coordination
At that time, Jake Paul had appointed Theotrice Chambers, J’Leon Love, and Larry Wade as his coaches. Kalvin Henderson remembered how Paul’s team wanted him to mimic Tommy Fury and his boxing style, and he followed their advice. But things started to change when one of his coaches remarked that Henderson wasn’t pushing El Gallo enough. “Jake had three trainers at the time. One of his trainers was like, ‘What are you doing? We need you to push him, man?'” Henderson stated, revealing that there was a lack of coordination and clear strategy within the coaching team. The three trainers were directing him in different ways.
