Mike Tyson Fears Jake Paul Might Sue Him After Revealing the Dark Truth Behind the Netflix Fight
Was it for the money? The pursuit of boxing glory? Or perhaps an attempt to right past wrongs?

But was this the real reason Tyson agreed to such a controversial bout? His recent revelations have made fans think twice.
Mike Tyson: “I Don’t Remember Much of the Fight”
In an exclusive interview with Sean Hannity on Fox Nation’s ‘Sean’, the former heavyweight champion shared never-before-known details about the fight.
Host Hannity was shocked when Tyson admitted he “didn’t remember much about the fight”. The boxing legend only recalled the first round and the unusual moment when Jake Paul bowed to him in the ring.
Even more concerning, Tyson revealed that before the fight, he suffered from a three-inch bleeding ulcer, which required ten blood transfusions.
When Hannity asked whether this had weakened him during the match, Tyson simply replied:
“I never thought about it.”
Tyson’s Biggest Fear: Getting Sued If He Didn’t Fight
Beyond his health struggles, Tyson had another major concern:
“I was worried about getting sued. I thought, ‘Oh my God, they’re going to sue me if I don’t take this fight.'”
During the interview, Tyson also discussed Netflix’s infamous broadcast issues during the fight and the heated slap incident at the final weigh-in.
A Fight That Shook the Boxing World
Despite the controversy, the Tyson vs. Paul fight still generated a massive payday for both fighters.
According to USA Today:
- Mike Tyson earned approximately $20 million.
- Jake Paul walked away with an astonishing $40 million.
But even with such a lucrative deal, Tyson’s own family seemed unhappy about his return to the ring.
Perhaps it’s finally time for the boxing legend to step away for good instead of continuing to risk his health in the ring.
